A stunning image appeared at the beginning of a new film displaying various tiny studios that Electronic Arts collaborates with as part of its EA Originals program: a huge robot with a child climbing onto its shoulders.
At a closed-door EA Play 2019 event, a group of journalists learns that the game in question is a brand new EA Original from developers Glowmade.
Rustheart is an action RPG with cooperative NPC gameplay. According to Glowmade CEO Jonny Hopper, the robot may be customized to any specifications. Players will be able to customize every aspect of the robot, from its color to its equipment, to make it truly unique and personal to them.

In addition, the robot gains knowledge from the player's activities. Rustheart was heavily influenced by the animated picture Iron Giant, the atmosphere of '80s movies, and the comedy of Rick and Morty, according to director Hopper.
In the studio, he adds, the big question was, “How do we make a game there,” “what can we do with that?” he asks.
Previously, Glowmade teamed with Tequila Works on WonderWorlds, a game that encouraged user-generated content. Rustheart is the first game developed by the firm under the EA Partners name.
The exclusive EA event featured a panel of developers from companies such as Jo-Mei, Zoink, Glowmade, 11 Bit Studios, and Velan Studios, who discussed their own EA-related projects as well as the state of independent development in general.
Velan Studios, in particular, is a newly partnered studio with Electronic Arts, and they are currently working on an unnamed game.
According to CEO Karthik Bala, the company was founded in 2016 “The reason we decided to work with EA is that everyone played it. The executives took advantage of the situation.” Despite the fact that Bala did not divulge anything about the game, he did reveal that it will be an online, live event.
EA has revealed further new games that will be released as part of its EA Originals program. Zoink, the developer of Fe, will release a new game soon! The album is titled Lost in Random.
In addition, Hazelight Studios, the developer of A Way Out, is working on a new game that will be announced at a later date.
