Ron Howard Early Life

Ronald William Howard was born on March 1, 1954, in Duncan, Oklahoma.

He is the eldest son of actress Jean Speegle Howard and director, writer, and actor Rance Howard.

In 1958, the family relocated to Hollywood, California, for at least three years before relocating to Burbank.

He attended the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts after graduating from John Burroughs High School. He did not, however, complete his college education.

Howard began his career in the entertainment world at the age of five.
