The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Review: Let’s just get on with my The Rising Of The Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 6 review since words can’t express how terrible this season has been.

Overview of the Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 6

Season 2 of The Rising Of The Shield Hero; also known as Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari; is an action; adventure; drama; fantasy, and, most importantly; isekai anime that follows the highly renowned and popular Season 1 from 2019.

The series is based on Yusagi Aneko’s light novel, which was illustrated by Minami Seira.

Studio Kinema Citrus is adapting the show’s second season into anime; as is the case with the first season and other critically praised anime such as Made in Abyss and Barakamon.

Masato Jinbo; an industry veteran who has directed shows such as Chaos Child and Restaurant to Another World; is directing this season.

You don’t have to be concerned if; like me; you were thinking before this aired that this season was surprisingly weak on comic series.

The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Review

In a bizarre series of events, Shield Hero has resoundingly claimed the title of funniest anime of the season.

This was a ridiculously bad episode, with tropes galore that would make a parody anime blush.

The current status of this anime is a textbook example of what not to do in a sequel.

In the previous episode, the show introduced a new adversary who was a perfect caricature of the unpleasant anime antagonist.

He was not only cunning enough to be the mastermind behind everything that had occurred so far in the season, but he was also powerful enough to deal with the combined powers of the four cardinal heroes; heroes from another world; Ost, and everyone else.

The most impressive achievement has to be that he accomplished all of this while remaining an obnoxious dweeb with no personality other than that of a reject from a better show.

The lady who pretended to be mysterious and secretive and would never provide a straight response had a secret.

Who could have predicted that? Not only that; but her acting in this manner did a poor job of acquainting her with the audience; resulting in viewers losing interest in her as a creator.

She’s also a worthless character because her backstory is written in a way that doesn’t make sense. There was a point there someplace, but as soon as she was presented, the show lost it.
