While fans are not surprised, they are disappointed to learn that Real Housewives of New Jersey will probably take a break. The Housewives' almost irreversible schism was already suggested by the tension within the cast and the unusual reunion special, and it now appears they will have to cease filming until they decide how to move forward.
Although nothing has been formally confirmed, Andy Cohen recently hinted that Bravo might be searching for “fresh faces,” and an insider has supported this assumption.
Reportedly, RHONJ Will Not Be Filming Again Until 2025
In response to Andy Cohen's startling revelations on RHONJ, an insider told the Daily Mail that “filming will probably not resume until 2025” for season 15.
It seems that the producers want to take a moment to consider their options as tensions grow.
Decisions regarding the show's future won't be made until the beginning of the following year. The insider stated, “Everyone is waiting to find out what's going to happen,” and that the reports that some of the Housewives were being let go were “not true.”
Nevertheless, they did support Andy Cohen's statements by stating that there most likely will be new faces.
“There won't be a casting announcement for the upcoming season anytime soon. Bravo is taking its time when it comes to casting. It won't even begin to take shape until the following year.
But given specific circumstances that have transpired this past season, some cast members are less likely than others to return. However, for two or three cast members, it might end permanently.
Andy Cohen Looks Forward To ‘Fresh Faces' In The RHONJ Reboot
A disgruntled Andy Cohen mentioned a RHONJ remake to a furious fan who had called his show. Fans are also growing weary of the cast's conflicts and are calling for a change.
He addressed the irate fan, asking, “Have you heard that we're gonna do big changes to the show?” “The program is getting a reboot. We are planning to restart it. We are going to take a different approach.
He hinted that some Housewives might be going when the fan appeared dissatisfied.
He continued, “We're going to see what we do.” “We'll see. I'm not sure. Or perhaps just new faces altogether? Perhaps. Let's see. We're going to work things out. Regarding it, we are all in agreement.”
This was corroborated by the insider, who also mentioned that because of the low numbers, Bravo might be searching for “new faces” for other shows.
Bravo is aggressively looking for new housewives for all of its franchisees, not just the one in New Jersey. To increase their viewership, they are constantly searching for fresh talent.”
“I believe they are unsure of what to do,” the source said. They are at a loss for what action to do because it's akin to putting together puzzle pieces that make sense. Furthermore, viewers currently find relatively few pieces of this puzzle to make sense.”
