The cast of Real Housewives of Orange County is having a difficult time of it. Once the closest of friends, Vicki Gunvalson, Shannon Beador, and Tamra Judge are now hardly more than acquaintances. It all began with Shannon's DUI and Tamra's belief that her friend's excessive alcohol use was out of control.
Tres Amigas was supposed to be the name of the reality TV series starring the three celebrities, but Tamra reportedly withdrew at the last minute. Vicki was enraged, and as a result, she severely insulted her estranged friend, while Shannon was depressed and upset.
Tamra Judge Is Criticized By Vicki Gunvalson For Giving Up Tres Amigas
Fans are well aware that Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador have not been getting along since Shannon's DUI, but it appears that Tamra is also at issues with Vicki Gunvalson.
Vicki will not forgive Tamra for leaving the three friends—or was she ever friends—stranded when she decided she no longer wanted to be involved in their upcoming live performance Tres Amigas.
In the most recent episode of Real Housewives of Orange County, Vicki aggressively spat, “She has a black heart and vinegar running through her veins.”
According to reports, Tamra withdrew since it focused too much on booze. Vicki angrily remarked that Shannon and she could manage without her.
Shannon was hesitant, but she persisted, saying, “I think we can still do it.”
In her confessional, Vicki stated, “Tamra didn't have the ba*** to call me or Shannon to tell us that she didn't want to be part of the show anymore.” It will resemble Shirley, Laverne, Lucy, Thelma, Louise, and Ethel. Regardless, there were only two at all times.
After Shannon overcame her reservations, they agreed to name their new endeavor The Shannon and Vicki Show.
They exclaimed, “Just the two of us, we're the dos amigas.”
Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge's Argument
Tamra Judge recently discussed her side of the argument with Shannon Beador and the reasons behind her displeasure at being characterized as the antagonistic friend. “The best friend Shannon Beador ever had,” she declared in an Entertainment Tonight interview, but she acknowledged that she was unable to maintain the Tres Amigas persona.
“Going into this season, we were absolutely not speaking anymore,” Tamra said. “I was on Shannon's side, so it's difficult for the audience to see… I was crying when we spoke on the phone. I was saying to her, “This is a wake-up call,” during our difficult chats.”
Though she made an effort to support Shannon, she eventually realized she could no longer handle her relationship with alcohol and moved aside. When she discovered that Shannon was speaking behind her back, things just became worse.
She feels that the friendship is over with Vicki.
With obvious distress, Tamra remarked, “She has been saying a ton of horrible things about me.” She's on the show this season, so you'll see. We're having a great time. She got the crowd to yell “Eff Tamra!” with her and Shannon, and I was like, we were just messaging the week before! How are you spending your time?”
Drama abounds in the upcoming season of Real Housewives of Orange County, but maybe the three ladies can find closure and maintain their composure, if not rebuild their friendship.
