Syfy will exclusively broadcast the second season of Resident Alien, which will premiere on January 26th. The series will also be available to watch on Peacock, a streaming service. Corey Reynolds, Alice Wetterlund, Levi Fiehler, and Judah Prehn will all return for the upcoming season, as will the majority of the cast members, including Alan Tudyk, Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds, and Corey Reynolds.
In addition, the show's recurring cast, which includes Alex Barima, Mandell Maughan, Nathan Fillion, Michael Cassidy, Linda Hamilton, Elvy Yost, Alvin Sanders, Diana Bang, and many others, will continue to appear on it.
The following is the official synopsis for the upcoming season:
“On his new quest to protect the people of Earth, Harry struggles to hold on to his alien identity as his human emotions grow stronger by the day. In an adventure that takes Harry and Asta all the way to New York City, Asta brings Harry into the arms of someone he can call family. Back in Patience, Sheriff Mike and Deputy Liv find themselves closer to unraveling the mystery of Sam Hodges’s murder.”
Harry was forced to make a decision at the end of Season 1 about whether or not he still wanted to carry out his original plan of destroying mankind. Although the appeal of Asta's plea tugged at his heartstrings, he made the decision to leave Earth in the same condition that he had found it.
However, shortly after blasting off into space, he discovered little Max safely tucked away in the spaceship cabin, prompting him to plan a return trip to Colorado with his family.

The series' second season was officially approved before the previous season's conclusion. Old Friends is the title of the first episode, and The Wire is the title of the second episode. New episodes will be released on a weekly basis, but the total number of episodes has not yet been determined. Carolyn, Harry's new love interest, will be played by Alex Borstein, who will make his debut in the show this season.
The latest season is currently streaming on Peacock.
