According to rolling stone, It will release on August 14, 2022. The second season of Power Book III: Raising Kanan debuted on Sunday, August 14, 2022, only on Starz and the Starz app.

Raising Kanan was the subject of so much discussion that it was renewed before it aired. Starz president and CEO Jeffrey Hirsch said in a statement to Entertainment Weekly that “one season isn't enough to tell the coming of age story of Kanan Stark and his mother, Raq,” who he described as “a fierce and successful woman who is a force of nature.”
“The global excitement for more of the Power Universe made it clear that the Kanan story needed to be continued,” says the author.
The show premiered in July of 2021 and concluded in September of the same year, with Kanan on the run from the authorities.
Raquel had tasked him with carrying out a hit on Detective Malcolm Howard, who is his father in a secret identity. But he was unable to succeed.

During an interview with Deadline published in January, creator Sascha Penn discussed the upcoming season and confirmed that it would be returning.
“We're about two-thirds of the way through season two of the show,” Penn shared his excitement.

What Will the Next Season Be About?
In a separate interview, Mekai Curtis, the show's star, confirmed that season 2 would pick up where the previous season left off.
Upon being pressed for more information, he told Entertainment Weekly, “It's just the continuation of actions and consequences.
” In the coming episodes, “you'll see how it molds and shapes Kanan's character, as well as what it does to his psyche,” says the show's creator.
“It's completely insane.” he says, “The family is in an entirely new space with a completely different dynamic now, so it's up to them to navigate that and figure out where they can step and where they can't stop.” Several complicated issues are currently in play.
According to TVLine, the cast of Raising Kanan also includes Patina Miller (Raquel Thomas), Hailey Kilgore (LaVerne “Jukebox” Ganner), Omar Epps (Detective Malcolm Howard), Malcolm Mays (Uncle Lou-Lou), London Brown (Uncle Marvin), Joey Bada$$ (Unique), Quincy Brown (Crown Camacho), Toby Sandeman (Symphony Bosket), Shanley Caswell.
New characters will also be introduced in the upcoming season, including Destiny's Child alum LeToya Luckett, who will play Jukebox's mother, Kenya, among others.
