Netflix's Norwegian fantasy drama television series Ragnarok is a retelling of Norse mythology.
It takes place in the present in the made-up Norwegian town of Edda in Hordaland, Western Norway, which is affected by both industrial pollution and climate change due to the Jutul family's nearby enterprises.
The Justus are a fake family made up of four Jötunn. Magne, a young man who discovers that he is the thunder god Thor's reincarnation, challenges them and starts the battle against those responsible for the planet's destruction.
He is joined by more characters who take on the forms of other gods in the second season.
Ragnarok Season 3 Plot
Season two of Ragnarok continued Magne's fight against Jutul Industries and the evil giants who run the corporation, picking up right where the first season's finale left off.
Unfortunately, this season's most popular reincarnated god lost his powers. And it wasn't until Magne forged Mjolnir, Thor's legendary hammer, that he was able to control his abilities.

Magne rained down righteous lightning and thunder on Fjor and Ran's car in the season two finale. Unfortunately, the two Jutuls survived to fight another day (season three, basically).
Ragnarok Season 3 Cast
All of the main characters who were present at the end of Season 2 are very likely to return for Ragnarok Season 3. Key characters Magne and his half-brother Laurits (Jonas Strand Gravli) will undoubtedly return for the final season.
We also expect Magne's new allies from season 2 to return for more action, as well as the gods Iman (Danu Sunth), Wotan (Bjrn Sundquist), and Harry (Benjamin Helstad) to join the big fight. Saxa (Theresa Frostad Eggesb), who sided with Magne in the season 2 finale, appears to be joining them.
And, of course, Ragnarok would be incomplete without the villainous Jutul family. The apocalyptic giants will be missing their leader, Vidar (Gsli rn Gararsson), who died tragically in season 2. However, Fjor (Herman Tmmeraas) and Ran (Synnve Macody Lund) have enough evil in their bones to compensate.
It's unclear who will be introduced in Ragnarok's third and final season, but given the vast lore of Norse mythology, we're sure there are a few more gods waiting to be revealed.
