Queer Eye Season 7: Release Date | Cast | Where Will This Season Take Place?

Queer Eye is an American reality television series that premiered on Netflix on February 7, 2018. It's a reboot of the Bravo series of the same name, with a new “Fab Five”: Antoni Porowski, food and wine expert; Tan France, fashion expert; Karamo Brown, culture expert; Bobby Berk, design expert; and Jonathan Van Ness, grooming expert.

In each episode, the “Fab Five” spend a week using their expertise to assist some individual—that episode's “hero”—in improving their lifestyle and achieving greater life satisfaction.

The award-winning show is well-known for its strong representation of the LGBT community and communities of color. There have been 58 episodes of Queer Eye released. On March 9, 2022, a German adaptation of Queer Eye premiered on Netflix.

Queer Eye Season 7: Plot

Although this may appear to be a stereotype, homosexual men have a better sense of style than their heterosexual counterparts. The reason for this is that most guys either don't care about their appearance or lack the sense and sophistication to make good fashion choices. The five buddies are experts in a variety of fields and are eager to share their knowledge with the gay community. They help them in more ways than just the fashion department.

There's no reason to believe Antoni, Bobby, Jonathan, Karamo, and Tan won't reprise their Fab 5 roles, but the show's setting and heroes will undoubtedly change.

Following the announcement, each member of the “Queer Eye” cast shared a photo from the cast's promotional shoot in New Orleans.

Backstage spoke with casting directors Ally Capriotti Grant and Pamela Vallarelli in June about how Queer Eye finds its heroes. “The ideal hero is someone who would never see this coming, or someone who would never nominate or submit themselves,” Vallarelli explained, adding that they look for people who represent different parts of the city they're in.
