This 18th-century historical drama explores love, family, and the horror of battle. The show has been five seasons, from 2015 to 2019. Poldark is unquestionably one of the best novels ever written. It ran for a total of five seasons, each one a huge hit.
There was a lot of anticipation for the sixth season when the last episode of the fifth season aired. Sadly, there have been no official announcements from the show's creators on the next season 6.

Poldark executive producer Karen Thrasell said in 2019 that Season 5 would be the series' last. Let's get this thing going.
Overview of the Poldark Series
Actor Aidan Turner stars in the historical drama Poldark, which airs on the BBC. The series is based on the same-titled novel by Winston Graham.
From 1781 through 1801, the narrative takes place. It is set in 1783, just after the American Revolutionary War, when the main character returns to Cornwall. On his return, he discovers that his father Joshua has died and that the family's land is in chaos with a mountain of debt.
Elizabeth, his childhood sweetheart, has gotten engaged to his cousin Francis, and he's not happy about it. The story revolves around Ross and Demelza, Elizabeth and Francis, and George Warleggan throughout five seasons as they deal with their marriage, heartache, death, the birth of their children, and conflict.
So, if you have any reservations regarding the upcoming season update or cancellation, you may put them to rest now.
When is Season 6 of Poldark Coming Out?
‘The Walking Dead' concluded its third and last season on Sunday, August 26. It began production in September 2018 for the fifth and final season, which premiered in July 2019. Finally, the story wraps up in 1801, nine years before the events of The Stranger from the Sea, the eighth book in the series. Not good news: There will be no more Poldark seasons; the program has ended.
Additionally, the BBC has confirmed that a historical drama based on Poldark would be made for up to five seasons. According to star Aidan Turner, we always intended to finish as many books as possible when we began filming Poldark.

“So while production for the series, there was a sense of fulfillment and relief that we got it this far, that the program was a success, and that people loved watching it,” he said. We've always wanted to reach that milestone and return for a fifth season, and we're thrilled to have done so.”
Why Did Poldark's Sixth Season End?
Poldark's creators, according to several interviews with the show's cast and crew, opted to end the series on a positive note. “Writing the finale of this last season was heartbreaking, but the finish itself is uplifting,” says writer Debbie Horsfield.
“We made every effort to tell the narrative as clearly as possible. As much as we'd hate a time leap in Ross and Demelza's description, it's the ideal moment to wrap things up for these beloved characters before they lose any of their lusters. The actress who portrays Demelza, Eleanor Tomlinson, told Digital Spy.
“It's the end of an era, and I'm heartbroken. As a cast member, I'll miss the staff and cast members, especially Aidan [Turner, who plays Ross Poldark].” “We have a fantastic link and friendship, and it would be unusual if it didn't work out.”
When a show ends, we can never forget and enjoy it; if you've missed it, you can always go back and watch the previous season.
