Pitchers Season 2: Release Date, Storyline, Review, Cast, Trailer

Pitchers Season 2: It would be an understatement to say that the second season of TVF's comedy-drama Pitchers has been one of the most eagerly anticipated shows in over a decade. After an almost seven-year wait, the sequel to Naveen Kasturia, Arunabh Kumar, Abhay Mahajan, and Jitendra Kumar's show is finally available online today.

It is now available to watch on Zee5. The absence of the much-loved character Jitu Bhaiya from the recently released show is likely the biggest regret. So, is the wait still worthwhile? Here's our opinion!

Season 2 of Tvf Pitchers – Storyline

Naveen, Yogi, Jitu, and Mandal (Abhay) recruited investors for Pragati AI, their “baby.” After years of “hustle,” fate/the market had other plans. TVF Pitchers' second season features rivalry, fallout, and product and business changes.

Pitchers Season 2

Naveen and Mangal, dapper co-founders of a young company, arrive late at a summit and get front-row seats, only to be escorted by the same intern who denied them entry in the first season. The Pitchers, viewers' favorite entrepreneurs, failed.

Pragati AI co-founders lose the biggest transaction with KC Enterprises CEO (Ashish Vidyarthi). After this, their investor Prachi Meena (Riddhi Dogra) tells them to relaunch in a few days and hire a new CTO. Naveen is still clinging to Jitu six months after their breakup.

His cabin, chair, and place in his friends'/co-founders' hearts are empty yet haunted by his memories. However, Naveen must overcome his loss and find a suitable carer for his newborn, Pragati AI. Coin tosses, chit games, poker, and Bhati (Abhishek Banerjee) influence Naveen's choices.

Yogi, Mandal, and their 24-person team struggle to release Pragati AI 2.0 while he tries to save it. Will the co-founders survive adversity? Will Pragati AI survive market conditions? Will they abandon their child? The 5-part series focuses on this.

TVF Pitchers Season 2: Review

Naveen excels again. In the first season, he played a buddy, boyfriend, and Pragati AI CEO. Even in emotional scenes, he's a company leader. We prefer Abhay as Mandal to Naveen in the first half. His ability to express complex emotions with his eyes is astounding.

Mandal smiles and stares at you as Yogi makes smart one-liners and gaalis to make his point. Abhay aka Sourabh impresses in every scene, whether he's a family man hiding his anguish at his niece's naam Karan ceremony or a senior manager whose co-founder labeled him a “freeloader” in front of his employees.

Pitchers Season 2

His odd thoughts and sentences make you giggle. Yogi's honesty wins hearts. He may be the only second-season character relatable. He is a terrific buddy and co-founder of jugaadu, and every employee goes to him for advice. His Pragati AI family conversations are really nice. Watch the elevator sequence in episode five. Tip: Carry a tissue.

Conclusion

Season 2 shows us what it's like to be an entrepreneur in a very competitive environment and times that are always changing. We are reminded that success won't be easy just because the first few goals of the start-up plan have been met. Jeetu's absence is always felt, and we can't help but wonder what he would think of all the chaos.

But Naveen, Yogi, and Mandal keep us interested until the end so we can see how their goals turn out. It's an interesting and well-made season that shows us what it takes for someone to decide to take risks in life. You can now watch the new season on Zee5.
