What is the Story About?
The trailer reveals that Maddie faces difficulties while trying to connect with Percy, as he misunderstands her attempts to get to know him as a kidnapping plot. Additionally, a humorous moment shows Percy drunkenly punching Maddie in the throat while she argues with an older man.
The movie features Lawrence in the role of Maddie, a character determined to rescue her childhood home. Maddie agrees to date a reserved 19-year-old named Percy, whose wealthy parents (played by Laura Benanti and Matthew Broderick) are seeking a partner for their son before he begins college. In return, Maddie receives a car that enables her to maintain her job as an Uber driver and save her family home after her mother's passing. However, Maddie is in for a shock when she discovers Percy's true nature.

What You Will See in the Trailer?
Maddie is going along with the bizarre plan in a bid to secure a car, as her previous vehicle is seen being towed away at the start of the trailer.
The film may not have been released yet, but if the trailer's viewing figures are anything to go by, it's got a keen audience.
An initial attempt to bond sees the terrified teen pepper spraying her in the face, and a later effort to assert his masculinity sees him accidentally putting Maddie in the throat.
The trailer also shows Maddie attempting to show the ‘unf**kable' Percy a good time by taking him skinny dipping.
The film promises plenty of laughs, as the trailer shows Lawrence struggling to bond with the awkward 19-year-old she's been set up with.
Lawrence will be appearing in the film alongside Andrew Barth Feldman as Percy and Matthew Broderick and Laura Benanti as his parents, as well as Natalie Morales (Dead To Me), Hasan Minhaj, Kyle Mooney (Saturday Night Live) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Bear).
