In this article, I will tell you about one miniseries, “Nine Perfect Strangers“. This miniseries is about the journey of 9 strangers who went to a health and wellness boot camp, the Tranquillum House.
If I say today that you are gonna be a completely different person in 10 days, will you believe me? Perhaps yes, if you believe in fate, but most people from the present generation will cast a nasty look at that thought. You must have heard about 10 days of health and wellness camp, which claims that it will change your life forever.
Some of us believe what they say and go there; some of us don’t still go there just to enjoy an off from the routine. The boot camp changes their lives in 10 days. These strangers will discover some secrets that weren’t meant to be uncovered while their lives become intertwingled.
This miniseries is announced to be released on Hulu in the United States and China, while in other countries, this series will be released on Amazon Prime Video.

Release Date of Nine Perfect Strangers
The date of the release is 18th August this year. After that, the episodes are to be released weekly, with 8 episodes planned till now. The last episode is to be released on September 22, 2021. Nicole Kidman will be the lead character of this series.
This series will closely resemble a book with the same name written by Australian author, Liane Moriarty published at the end of 2018. Hulu released a first look at the trailer during the 93rd Academy Awards, airing on ABC on April 25, 201.
The shoot has mostly taken place in Australia, with proper pandemic measures taken. As the show is not released till now, we can’t tell you what the plot would be exactly? So we will cheat a bit here and tell you about the book’s story.

A group of people shows up at the wellness camp at Tranquillum resort for a 10-day retreat. Let’s meet the characters
- Frances (Novelist)
- Lars (Health-retreat junkie)
- Ben and Jessica(Rich Young couple)
- Carmel(divorced single mother) and Tony(divorcee)
- The Marconis, Napoleon(Schoolteacher), his wife Heather, and their daughter Zoe.
- Masha, the resort director
- Yao and Deliah wellness consultants
As the strangers do different activities like Hikes and therapies. We get to know the real reason why they are here? The Marconis have lost their one child, Zach. Ben and Jessica are the lucky lottery winners, but money has changed their relationship. Frances was scammed by a man. Carmel’s daughter, his ex-husband, and his fiancée are off travelling.
On Day 5, Heather realizes something is fishy here. She figures out they are being drugged. Masha, too admits that they are giving the guests LSD in small doses. However, today, they tried out a larger dose.
The guests are upset when they learned this fact. But they are all high and can’t remember a thing. Lara opens up to the fact that her parent’s unsuccessful marriage has restrained her from marrying his loving partner, Ray. Heather feels guilty about Zach’s suicide because she gave her the medication which induces depression. Finally, Carmel decides to love herself.

When all the guests sober up, they found themselves in a cage. This was a teambuilding exercise but a twist that Masha planned.
The staff doesn’t like it. Deliah storms out, stealing Ben’s Lamborghini. While Yao is drugged by Masha. Masha gives the characters a game to play but soon began to lose herself in the thoughts of her child, who strangled himself to death, and she too consumes LSD.
All guests smell fire and get a panic attack. But soon, the door unlocks, and they see a wastebasket with some trash burning. Heather insults Masha, who then starts a fight still high; Frances knocks her out. A cop shows up because Deliah was speeding. Masha and Yao are arrested. All people solve their root problems. Frances and Tony marry. When Masha came out of jail, she writes a book and starts a new illegal LSD program.
