The Night Shift is a four-season, 45-episode American medical drama television series aired on NBC from May 27, 2014, to August 31, 2017. Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah created the series, which follows the lives of the staff who work the late night shift in the emergency room at San Antonio Memorial Hospital.

NBC renewed the series for a fourth season on November 17, 2016, which premiered on June 22, 2017. After four seasons, NBC canceled the show on October 13, 2017.
