What's My Policeman About?
The film, directed by Red's Michael Grandage, is set in 1950s Brighton and follows a schoolteacher named Marion (Corrin) who falls in love with the police officer, her brother's best friend (Styles). When Tom meets the curator of the Brighton Museum, Patrick Hazelwood, and they begin an affair, he is faced with a dilemma.

Tom wonders if it would be safer to remain in a relationship with Marion or be with Patrick during a time when homosexuality was prohibited. However, when Marion realizes that Tom wants to be with Patrick, a catastrophic chain of events ensues. When the characters are returned 40 years later, the plot also occurs in the 1990s.
A film insider told The Sun, “Harry will have sex on television, and they want it to look as natural as possible.” The plan is to record two sex scenes between Harry and actor David Dawson, followed by a sequence in which Harry is naked.
“There won't be much room for speculation,” the person concluded.
Who Will Star In My Policeman?
Emma, nominated for best actress in a drama series at the Golden Globes for her work as Princess Diana in The Crown, will play Marion. In contrast, according to the Daily Mail, Harry will play Tom, Marion's husband.
Emma will play the lead role in the movie. At the same time, Harry made his acting debut in Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk in 2016 and most recently co-starred with Florence Pugh in Olivia Wilde's psychological thriller Don't Worry Darling. Although it is unknown why Lily James is no longer involved, it is revealed in September of last year that she had been promised a part in the film.
David Dawson joined the cast in early March and will play Patrick Hazelwood, while Rupert Everett will portray the elder Patrick. What Time Did My Policeman End?
By posting a behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram, Emma Corrin confirmed that My Policeman had wrapped filming in the middle of June 2021. Along with a picture of Harry, Robbie Rogers, the producer, and Michael Grandage, the director, she wrote, “Aaaaand that's a falafel wrap baby.”
