My Hero Academia has been scheduled to return with its sixth season this autumn for some time, but the cover of The Weekly Shonen Jump magazine recently teased a more exact release date of October 2022.

However, thanks to a special screening at the show's annual Hero Fes event, some lucky fans will be able to see the season six premiere earlier than that, at the end of July.

While portions from the show may be available online, the whole episode won't air until October 2022 for the rest of us.

Season 6 of My Hero Academia will begin with the full scope of the Paranormal Liberation War.

The heroes launch an attack on the Paranormal Liberation Army's base, but the plan backfires spectacularly.

The fifth season of My Hero Academia finished with a post-credits sequence of Class 1A staring out over a city full of supervillains.
This teased the “Paranormal Liberation War,” the next big storyline coming our way.
Based on manga chapters 253-306, this arc is effectively a full-scale conflict between our heroes and a united gang of villains and is easily one of the fandom's most well-known stories.
Without giving too much away, the Heroes now have enough intelligence to fight the Paranormal Liberation Front head-on, due in part to Hawks' cunning reconnaissance efforts.
And by the end of this battle, our heroes will be nothing like the ones we met at the end of season five.
Before that, Studio Bones promised two additional OVAs for fans who can't get enough of the show.

In a nice reference to the sports shonen genre, the first one, titled “HLB,” will have our heroes playing baseball. In June of 2022, keep an eye out for it.
