Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is one of the year's highest-rated anime series, with each episode delivering nothing less than perfection.
Unfortunately, the first season of this anime series ended yesterday, leaving fans wondering when season 2 (or part three) will air and what will be included in this new instalment.
Here, we'll tell you all we know so far.
The release date for season 2 of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation
Although an official release date for the second instalment of the series has yet to be announced, Comic Book reports that season 2 (as well as season 3) is already in the works.
With that in mind, a new season may launch as early as Fall 2022, comparable to when the most recent edition began, or as late as 2023. Take this information with a grain of salt, as much has yet to be confirmed, but we'll keep you updated as more specific information becomes available.

Fans of the anime series may look forward to seeing many of their favourite characters return!
Tomokazu Sugita, our primary character Rudeus Greyrat, will return, as will Ai Kakuma as Eris Boreas Greyrat, Daisuke Namikawa as Ruijerd Superbia, and, most likely, Black Clover's Toshiyuki Morikawa and Horimiya's Hisako Kanemoto as Paul and Zenith Greyrat, respectively (even if it is but for a moment).

In addition, as shown in the manga, the upcoming season will introduce a few new characters. Who will take on the roles of these new characters? We'll have to wait and see what happens.
Synopsis for season 3 of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation
The final episode of the first season, “Wake Up, and One Step Forward,” depicted Rudeus' depressed state following Eris' abrupt departure. Though he relapsed to his reclusive nature at first, he was able to summon the inner power to pull himself out of his funk after recalling what his mother, Zenith, had said to him fondly in the past.

With this in mind, Season 2 will most likely follow Rudeus on his quest to locate Zenith, whose current whereabouts are unknown.
