Top 10 Pokemon Go's rarest pokemon in 2022
Noibat
Flying/dragon-type Noibat was one of the first Kalos Pokemon to be added to the game. As a bonus, it's one of the most uncommon Pokemon to debut in a long time.
If you want to catch a Noibat, the best time to do so is when there is a lot of wind, so keep a watch on your radar. A '10km' egg can also be successfully incubated.
Unfortunately, you need 400 candies to evolve it. So, maybe it's more accurate to state that Noivern is the root of the issue.
Unown
The pursuit of completing an Unown collection might consume your entire existence. Rare sightings of the mysterious Pokémon can be had in the wild, but they are extremely unlikely outside of organized events like Pokémon GO Fest 2021.
Adding insult to injury, there are 26 unique Unown to capture, one for each letter of the alphabet. There are now 1-star Unown (U) raids available for participation.
Throw in the fact that blue Unown shinies are really hip right now, and you might be on the prowl for them for a long time.

Goomy
Good luck with Goomy was still a prevalent phrase among players at the most recent XY tournament. You can imagine how uncommon this species is in natural conditions given that Niantic made sure the slimy little guy was a valuable prize.
You're better off waiting for the wheel to stop spinning. You'll need to keep track of the monthly releases of '10km Eggs' to find out if and when they feature Goomy in their roster. That's a significant distance to cover if you want to play the game the way nature intended.
Axew
Axew is one of the most uncommon wild spawns at the moment. Don't pass up the chance to get some of that delicious Axew candy by using a silver pinap berry if you come across one.
It will take a long time to collect all the candy and genders you need for a complete family, as Axew is currently the rarest hatch out of 10,000 eggs. You can speed up the hatching of 10,000 eggs by using a high-tech incubator.
However, who can say for sure? A couple of months ago, Gible was as much of a rarity to catch or hatch as Axew is today. Though they were once all the rage, after events like Gible Community Day and Pokémon GO Fest 2021, they have fallen out of favor. Perhaps Axew will follow suit and abandon the Sharpedo.
Meltan & Melmetal
Both Meltan and Melmetal are extremely uncommon, but not due to their low spawn rate; none of these Pokémon ever appear in the wild in Pokémon GO. For the joint release of Pikachu and Eevee, these Pokémon were added to the game.
Players need a Nintendo Switch, a copy of either Pokémon: Let's Go! Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let's Go! Eevee!, and must progress through the game to Fuchsia City in order to get these rare and unique Pokémon. This is an expensive and time-consuming endeavor, as the Nintendo system and game must be purchased separately.

Pancham
Even though it has occasionally been seen in the wild, this Fighting-type Pokemon was only made available in 2018, when it was hatched from a 12km egg or found in Raids.
With Pancham's new inclusion, more players will get a chance to capture it during the Luminous Legends X and Y events.
If you didn't manage to get one, don't worry; this Pokemon is still quite uncommon.
The Lake Trio – Azelf, Mesprit, Uxie
The Lake Trio consists of Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie, and obtaining the Lake Guardians is extremely difficult unless you have access to a private jet.
There is a regional restriction on where you can buy Uxie, Mesprit is exclusive to Europe, and Azelf is exclusively sold in the Americas. You'd have to have large pockets if you wanted to acquire all three of these, though. The only guaranteed method to get a Pokemon from your region is to beat the Raid during the event.
Although many players expected Niantic to switch up the Pokemon available to catch during Lake Trio events, the developer ultimately decided not to do so.
Pikachu Libre
You can only catch this ultra-rare Pokemon if you reach the highest levels of the GO Battle League. Even while Pikachu Libre is always available, only a select few POGO players will ever be able to obtain this uncommon Pikachu Costume due to the aforementioned conditions.
You will definitely run into Pikachu Libre if you make it to Legend Rank in GO Battle League, but that will be the only time you have a chance to catch it.

Sandile
Sandile originates from the Unova region and is a Ground-type Dark Pokémon. Feed it 25 candies to make it evolve into a Krokorok, and then into a Krookodile.
To get your hands on this Pokemon, you'll need to crack open an egg, and the red egg is the one you'll want.
Tirtouga
Fossil Pokemon have always been challenging to obtain in any Pokemon game, but in Pokemon Go, the phrase “rare” takes on an all-new meaning. Now more than ever, it's nearly impossible to track down Tirtouga, one of the newest fossils to be discovered.
The Rock/Water-type debuted in January 2020 and could be hatched from 7km Eggs for a short time during the February 2020 Fossil event. Since then, Trainers have had to rely on finding it in the wild, although most have given up hope of ever encountering one.
