Whatever the reason, Midnight Fight Express appears to be attempting to take a more stylish approach to the genre by employing 3D graphics rather than the more typical pixel art of comparable games in its predecessors, at least at first glance.

People are naturally enthusiastic about the idea of eventually being able to play the game because it has been giving off John Wick vibes, which is to be expected.

Last year, during Gamescom 2020s opening night, live broadcast, the title was first announced for the game. The action-heavy gameplay was the sole focus of the trailer, which is definitely a smart place to start for an action game of this caliber. It did, however, suggest that a release date of 2021 was being considered for the game.

Almost a year later, at Gamescom 2021, a new trailer for the game was shown, which was significantly more polished than the previous one.

There are allusions to a city on the Steam page that you must travel through, but it is unclear if this is a straightforward one-way journey or a more complicated one that involves retracing and collecting collectibles along the route.
