Early Life and Education
Mary Taylor Greene was born on May 27, 1974, in Milledgeville, Georgia, to Marjorie Taylor Greene and her husband, Michael. South Forsyth High School in Cumming was where she attended high school. In 1996, Greene graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Georgia, where she had previously studied.
Career Beginnings
Greene began her business career after her father transferred ownership of his company Taylor Commercial, a general contractor he had formed, to her. From 2007 through 2011, she was identified as the company's chief financial officer (CFO).
In the aftermath of this experience, Greene pursued CrossFit training and eventually became a part-time instructor at one of the company's facilities in Alpharetta, Georgia. Greene co-founded a CrossFit facility with athlete Travis Mayer in 2013, and she sold her interest in the business in 2017.
Greene left her commercial profession to pursue a career in political conspiracies after being fired from her previous position. In 2017, she contributed to the conspiracy news website American Truth Seekers, where she authored several stories.
Her writing career began in early 2018 when she contributed to the fictitious news website Law Enforcement Today. She also worked as an official with the conservative Family America Project, which encouraged violence against Democrats, among other things, during this time.
US House of Representatives
Greene launched her campaign for Georgia's 6th congressional district in 2019. Still, she ultimately decided to run for the 14th district after it was announced that incumbent Tom Graves would not be standing for reelection in that area.
When Greene was running for Congress, she spoke at pro-gun rallies, endorsed far-right extremist groups, and posed with assault guns in messages that threatened violence against House Democrats such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Greene was declared the winner of the general election when her opponent Kevin Van Ausdal withdrew from the campaign.
Greene began spreading the Big Lie that Donald Trump had won the 2020 presidential election on her very first day in office as a member of Congress. She has maintained her denial of the election's results and has made strenuous efforts to get them overturned.
Greene, for example, raised concerns about electoral votes during the Electoral College vote count and advocated for the decertification of Georgia's election results in the aftermath.
She began drafting articles of impeachment the day following Biden's inauguration, claiming he had abused his position of authority. The white supremacist rally at which Greene spoke hailed the attack on the Capitol on January 6 and Putin's invasion of Ukraine, among other inflammatory deeds.
Accordingly, the House of Representatives introduced a motion to remove Greene from all committee positions due to this and other harmful actions, including her repeated threats against her colleagues.

Political Positions
In addition to being a white supremacist, Greene is a far-right extremist who publicly associates with white nationalist organizations. Abortion, foreign aid, LGBTQ and immigration rights, and racial equality are all issues that she opposes.
Aside from that, Greene rejects the scientific truths of climate change and evolution. He aggressively denied the COVID-19 safety measures during the pandemic while distributing misleading information about the virus and vaccinations.
Greene, in particular, is a vigorous defender of the Second Amendment and has links to several radical militia organizations, which is noteworthy. She has advocated for the assassination of Democrats and FBI agents and the death of Democratic leaders Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama.
Greene is particularly well-known for her promotion of conspiracy theories, which she has done repeatedly.
