Rowan Atkinson will make his comedic come back to the realm of physical comedy in the upcoming Netflix series Man Vs. Bee, which follows the battle of one man against an annoying insect.

Because of the popularity of the farcical character Mr. Bean around the globe, the face of Rowan Atkinson is recognizable to millions of viewers in every region of the world. Netflix will be hoping that the actor will be able to break through with audiences all over the world.

Will Davies, with whom Rowan Atkinson previously worked on the Johnny English film franchise, contributed to the creation of the series, which was developed by Atkinson in collaboration with Davies. Following the establishment of a product development team in the United Kingdom by the online streaming behemoth Netflix, this program is one of several that are now being produced there.

We now have other names confirmed for parts in the upcoming film, “Man Vs. Bee,” in addition to Rowan Atkinson, who was previously announced.

The role of mansion owner Nina, whose property is being house-sat by the character portrayed by Rowan Atkinson, has been performed by Jing Lusi, who appears in the original Netflix series Crazy Rich Asians. Rowan Atkinson’s character is now house-sitting Nina’s home.

The part of the Gardener is played by Greg McHugh, who is most known for his appearance in the film Fresh Meat, and India Fowler, who is best known for her performance in the film White Lines, plays a character named Maddy.

Julian Rhind-Tutt, who previously appeared in “Bridget Jones’s Baby,” plays the part of Christian, Nina’s husband.

Completing the cast are Claudie Blakley (Manhunt), who plays Trevor’s ex-wife, and Tom Basden (After Life), who portrays the Police Officer. Both actors are from Manhunt. Actors are responsible for bringing these two personas to life.

On June 24, Man vs. Bee will make its debut on Netflix, where it will be available with a number of other summer blockbusters that the streaming giant will be providing. It will be broken up into 10 episodes, each of which will be precisely ten minutes long, starting from the beginning to the conclusion.

Rowan Atkinson and the creator of Johnny English, William Davies, are the ones responsible for developing the new series. David Kerr, the filmmaker of “Man vs. Bee,” also made his directorial debut with “Johnny English,” continuing the tradition of similar first films.

Moving on to the cast, the bumbling Trevor, played by Rowan Atkinson, and his nemesis, a computer-generated bee, will take up most of the screen time. There will also be some more characters, all of them will be portrayed by well-known actors.
