Luke Bell was an American country singer and musician. He was born on January 27, 1990, and died around August 29, 2022. Rolling Stone says that Bell “played classic honky-tonk with a wink and a yodel that woke up the sleeping ghosts of the country better than any voodoo spell ever could.”

Early years

Bell was born in Lexington, Kentucky, and grew up in Cody, Wyoming. He went to Cody High School and got his diploma in 2008. Bell went to college for a short time in Laramie, Wyoming, but then dropped out.

Final Album

Bell moved to Nashville, Tennessee, when the second record era was over. In 2016, Bell released his second self-titled album and his third and last studio album. It had some songs from his previous album and some new songs.

“Sometimes,” a song from the album that was first released as a single on Bell's 2014 album, got attention from both NPR Music and Rolling Stone. The song got a music video with Erin Rae, Patrick Sweany, and Kristina Murray. Bell put out a cover of John Lennon's 1971 song “Jealous Guy” at the end of 2016.
