Locke & Key is a 2020 American supernatural horror drama streaming television series produced by Carlton Cuse, Meredith Averill, and Aron Eli Coleite, based on Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodrguez's comic book series of the same name.
After Rendell Locke is murdered by former student Sam Lesser, his wife Nina decides to relocate from Seattle to Matheson, Massachusetts, with her three children, Tyler, Kinsey, and Bode, to live in Rendell's family home, Keyhouse. The kids quickly uncover a number of weird keys strewn about the home that can be used to magically open various doors. However, they quickly become aware of a demonic entity that is also looking for the keys for its own nefarious intentions.

IDW Entertainment was rumoured to be creating a television series adaptation of Locke & Key once more on May 9, 2016. The series was created in collaboration with Circle of Confusion with the goal of presenting it to cable networks and streaming platforms.
With the exception of Jackson Robert Scott's part as Bode Locke, all of the series' characters will be recast in conjunction with the production's transfer to Netflix. Connor Jessup and Emilia Jones were cast to replace Mulhern and Charpentier, respectively, on December 19, 2018.
The series got mostly good reviews from critics, with the score, set design, and visual effects being highlighted as series highlights.
