Ticket-holders in Las Vegas Are Left in the Dark While Adele Mocks Negative Media Coverage!

Las Vegas Tickets Adele Mocks-Adele fans are once again in the dark about the status of the singer's postponed Weekends With Adele residency in Las Vegas. The singer has made no word on the fate of those gigs, which were postponed in late January just hours before the first event was set to begin and many fans were already en route to Nevada.

Adele said on social media that she will go to England for The BRIT Awards and would appear on Graham Norton's chat show this week, but she provided no updates on the Las Vegas performances, which would be in their third weekend on Friday if the original schedule had been followed.

“Hiya, so I'm so excited to report that I'm singing at the Brits next week!!,” the singer said on Twitter, with a photo of herself laughing uncontrollably while clutching a playing card. “And It's something I'm looking forward to! Oh, and Rich sends his heartfelt greetings.

The BRITs will take place on February 8th. Adele is nominated for four Grammys, including Album of the Year and Artist of the Year.

Weekends Featuring Adele was supposed to run from January 21 through April 16 at Caesars Palace's Colosseum, with two concerts each weekend (save the weekend of February 18-19). She cancelled the performances just a day before they were set to air, alleging that COVID cases among the team had caused production delays and that the show was not ready to air. However, since then, stories have cast doubt on that explanation, claiming that the delay was caused by turmoil inside Adele's entourage and unreasonable demands on the venue and employees. Six of the initially scheduled show dates will have been missed by this weekend, while four additional dates have been claimed by Keith Urban appearances. Many prospective 2022 Colosseum dates have already been booked amongst Urban, Rod Stewart, and Sting, with Stewart also planned for two weekends in the fall.

Those who want to seek a refund from Ticketmaster have until February 19 to do so, but there's no guarantee that replacement dates will be published by then.

Adele fans, many of whom paid hundreds of dollars for residency tickets, weren't pleased with the tone of her BRITs statement, especially as the Las Vegas gigs are still on hold. In the comments on her Twitter post, they came out in force.

In the same post, several admirers were eager to support the singer and her conduct. However, it will be fascinating to watch how the public reacts when the events are postponed, as well as how long Ceasar's is ready to wait for her team to make a decision on the residency.
