Isn’t KUWTK Still Going? Season 19 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians: A Resource Guide

When Keeping Up with the Kardashians returns for its 19th season, the Kardashians find themselves in quarantine. The Kardashian-Jenner family was affected by the COVID-19 epidemic in the same way the rest of the globe was. As a result, even though they were not accompanied by a camera crew, the Kardashian-Jenner sisters and the rest of their famous family were able to document their experiences in the aftermath of the global health crisis. This will be the penultimate season of their iconic reality show, which we can't believe is about to come to an end as well. As the new season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians debuts, here is everything we know so far about the upcoming season.

How Did the Kardashians and Jenners Film Season 19 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians Despite Being under Quarantine due to the Coronavirus?

Because of the mandatory stay-at-home orders issued by the state of California earlier this year, Kris and her family were forced to shoot everything themselves while in quarantine. In an interview with Elle, who spoke with executive producer Farnaz Farjam, the KUWTK stars revealed that they photographed their confessionals on tripods and taped their Zoom dinners.

Although Farjam had originally hoped that the reality stars would film the shoot on their personal cell phones and upload the footage to a shared album, she ultimately decided to hire a director of photography and a technician, who set up brightly-lit rooms in Kim's mansion and Khloé's Calabasas home. In order to keep the family's security teams happy, every week a showrunner would drop off a new iPhone and pick up the ones they had used to film themselves the previous week, which would have approximately 16 hours of footage in total.

In the event that Kris becomes irritated and moves away from the camera viewpoint, it is unlikely that we will be able to follow her and continue shooting.” It is necessary for her to reappear on the television and explain [why she walked away],” Farjam explained. “It's less of a fly-on-the-wall experience because we have to direct them and they have to be more forthcoming with us… However, because it is the Kardashians and they are always entertaining, it will be a fun show to watch for the general public.”

They'll say things like, “Who knew being a camera person would be so difficult?!,” and “Who thought being a camera person would be so difficult!”

It has been reported that at least two full episodes of the new season will be totally constructed from spliced material that was captured during quarantine will be included.

After Season 19, Will there be Another Season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians?

Yes, but unfortunately, it will be the last. Earlier this year, the famous family announced that the final season, Season 20, would premiere in the year 2021. As the reality stars said in a statement, “To our great fans — It is with sad hearts that we have made the difficult choice as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” ‘After 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes, and countless spin-off series, we are incredibly grateful to all of you who have supported us throughout the years – through the good times, the terrible, the tears, and the many relationships and children that have come along with it.' We'll cherish the amazing experiences and the innumerable people we've met along the route for the rest of our lives.”
