Do you like comedy reality shows? If you do, then you are at the right place. Today in this article, we will talk about a famous American fantasy comedy reality show named “The Good Place”. It began on NBC on September 19, 2016, and ended on January 30, 2020, after four seasons and 53 episodes. It was developed by Michel Schur.

The Good Place: Plot
The whole series is based on the afterlife in which the humans are sent to “The Good Place” and “The Bad Place” after their death. Basically, all humans are scored according to the morality of their conduct in life. The humans who have the highest scores are sent to Good Place, where they enjoy all the happiness with their every wish granted. Whereas in the other side all other humans experience an eternity of torture in the Bad Place.
The first season was about Eleanor and Jason, a criminal who thought that he was sent to a good place incorrectly, and at the season finale, They learn they've been in a terrible experimental place all along, designed to punish them emotionally and ethically for the rest of their lives.
Michael constantly tried to wipe the human's memory in order to resume their psychological torment in the second season, but the humans always figured out the truth. Due to Michel’s failure, he was blackmailed by another demon who wanted his job, so Michael tries to convince the humans to help him fool his boss in exchange for the path to a Good Place.
When Michael notices that humans may improve their goodness after they die, he takes their case to the everlasting Judge, who decides that the humans may be restored to Earth to demonstrate their moral improvement.
The other two seasons were about the research study where they proved that humans can show moral improvement in their afterlife.
The Cast of “The Good Place”

Critical Response
The editors of TV Guide placed a good place at the second position among the ten picks of the best tv shows of the 2016-17 session. With a review of 126,000 viewers, IMDb rated the show 8.6 out of 10. The rotten tomatoes awarded 89% to the show with the review of the audience.
The Good Place was placed 69th on The Guardian's list of the top 100 television programmes of the twenty-first century in 2019.

A Peabody Award and three Hugo Awards for Best Dramatic Presentation have been given to the series.
It has also received fourteen Primetime Emmy Award nominations, including the best comedy series for the third and fourth seasons.
