When Hanna originally aired on Amazon in 2019, there was a lot of scepticism about the show. After all, fans had already watched this narrative play out on the big screen eight years before. Oscar-winner Hanna, played by Saoirse Ronan, is a genetically modified super-teen who sets out to take down the evil Marissa Weigler (Cate Blanchett), who oversaw the program that turned young girls into killing machines for the American government, with the help of her ex-CIA agent father Erik (played in the film by Eric Bana).

Hanna gets re-admitted to The Meadows.
On their first expedition, Hanna and Jules are dispatched. They aim to assassinate a journalist in London who is meeting with a military lawyer who wants to expose Utrax’s secrets. Mannion’s coworker, Grant, assigns Marissa the responsibility of finding Hanna.
Carmichael comes in Barcelona after Gelder’s murder. Hanna, Clara, and Kat have taken refuge at a hilltop villa. Hanna returns to the hotel and retrieves Gelder’s list of targets.
