Kirstie Alley Death: Kirstie Louise Alley was an American actress. An Emmy & a Golden Globe were awarded to her in 1991 for her performance as Rebecca Howe on the NBC sitcom Cheers. Kirstie Alley died at 71 after a brief battle with colon cancer, her representatives have revealed. She played the title character in the sitcom Veronica's Closet from 1997 to 2000, for which she was nominated for both Emmys and the Golden Globe.

Kirstie Louise Alley was an American actress. Alley was born to Robert Deal Alley & Lillian Alley in Wichita, Kansas. Ally graduated from Wichita Southeast High School in 1969. Although she enrolled at Kansas State University, she left halfway through her sophomore year. Alley debuted on the game program Match Game in 1979.

After she relocated to LA to practice Scientology & work as an interior designer. She swept both competitions, taking home $500 in the first & $5,500 in the second. In 1980, she made an appearance on the game program Password Plus. She introduced herself as an interior designer in both programs. Her parents were both murdered in a car accident involving a drunk driver in 1981.

True and Lillie Parker, Alley's daughters, revealed on Twitter that their mother passed away from a cancer diagnosis. In an email to the Associated Press, Alley's manager Donovan Daughtry confirmed his death.

From 1970-1977, Alley was married to her high school boyfriend, Bob Alley, who shared her father's name. On December 22, 1983, Alley wed actor Parker Stevenson. The couple adopted their son William “True” a week after his birth on October 5, 1992, after they had experienced a miscarriage & they adopted their daughter Lillie in 1995. After William had a boy of his own in 2016, Alley became a grandmother. Alley lived in Clearwater, Florida, from 2000-2022. Alley also spent a significant portion of her life on the Maine island of Islesboro between the years 1991 & 2020. Her former spouse & used to run what is now called the Mitchell Cottage but was originally known as the Islesboro Inn. In time, Alley also invested in the second house in Islesboro.
