‘Keeping Faith' is a crime thriller TV series produced by Matthew Hall and distributed by Vox Pictures. The series follows Faith Howells, a criminal lawyer at a small family law firm. Her life takes an unexpected turn when her husband Evan reportedly goes after their 3rd child.
Since its debut in November 2017, the series has produced three seasons to critical and commercial acclaim.
Fans and experts praised the series' moving cinematography and the divine forged who brought the comedy to life.
Eve Myles also won a BAFTA for her role as Faith Howells. Despite the season's end, fans are eager to see how the story will continue in the next season.
If you enjoyed this series, we regret to inform you that it has ended. Why was it canceled, and is there a chance for a fourth season? Let's find out.
Will there be a Season 4 of Keeping Faith?
Unfortunately for fans of Keeping Faith, the BBC has confirmed that the show will not be returning for a fourth season.
“In the third and final collection, Faith is compelled to draw on her deepest reserves of belief and passion, as well as her unquenchable thirst for the truth, as she takes on each of the most significant cases of her career while confronting the darkest secrets, techniques, and stories from her past,” said Matthew Hall, the series' producer.
“Throughout an experience that alternates between struggle and faith, tears and shouting, Faith is tested to her limits as a mother, daughter, partner, companion, first-rate buddy, a legal professional, and the narrative culminates with a joyful and unexpected conclusion, as well as her final goodbye.”
Fans will be disappointed to learn that the show has been killed off by the community, and the third season will mark the final chapter in the story of this thriller comedy.
In January 2020, BBC Wales confirmed the series' revival for a third season, but also announced the series' cancellation, which was met with sadness.

How did Season 3 end?
The final episode of Keeping Faith season 3 is one of the most nerve-wracking episodes of the entire three-season run of the show.
After a protracted legal battle to allow 14-year-old Osian to receive experimental treatment in France, the decision to transfer him has finally been made to proceed with the transfer.
When it is revealed that Faith's troublesome mother, Rose, has taken her two daughters and is having a tense meal with them back at her house, Faith's relief does not last long.
Faith arrives at the house just in time to prevent any harm from being done to the girls, but an enraged Rose fires a gun into the house, killing her own daughter.
Due to the arrival of Faith's husband, Evan (played by Eve Myles' real-life husband, Bradley Freegard), an intense stand-off ensues before the sound of two gunshots can be heard from outside the house.
Rose then shoots and kills Evan before turning the gun on herself, it is revealed moments later.
Following the dramatic conclusion, Keeping Faith concludes with a montage showing Faith selling her house and attending a memorial gathering for Evan on the beach.
It is at this point that we learn that Faith is pregnant, most likely with the child of Steve Baldini (whom Rose also looked after) and that she intends to relocate in order to begin a new chapter.
The next chapter in Faith's life, unfortunately, will not be one that we will be following, as the series has largely explored Faith's difficult relationship with her husband Evan, and now that he has passed away, the show's central dynamic is no longer present.
