Jeon Jung-kook (Korean: born September 1, 1997), sometimes known simply as Jungkook, is a singer and songwriter from South Korea. His full name is Jeon Jung-kook. He is the youngest member of the South Korean boy band BTS and also serves as a vocalist for the group.
Early life and Education
eon Jung-kook was born on September 1st, 1997 in the city of Busan, which is located in South Korea.
He has an older brother in addition to his parents as members of his family. While in Busan, he received his elementary and middle school education at Baekyang. After he was accepted into the training program, he moved to Seoul to attend Singu Middle School.
When Jungkook was little, he had ambitions of being a badminton player. However, after witnessing G-Dragon perform “Heartbreaker” on television, he was inspired to want to become a singer instead.
In 2011, Jungkook appeared in Daegu for the auditions of the South Korean talent program Superstar K. These auditions took place in 2011.
Even though he was not chosen for the role, seven different entertainment firms extended casting offers to him. After watching RM, who is now his fellow band member and the leader in BTS, perform, he made the decision to eventually become a trainee under Big Hit Entertainment.

Career
The release of the single “2 Cool 4 Skool” on June 12, 2013, marked Jungkook's first public appearance as a member of the boy band BTS. As a member of BTS, he has performed three solo songs.
The first of these, the pop track “Begin” from the album Wings (2016), told the story of how he moved to Seoul at a young age in order to pursue his dream of becoming an idol. He also expressed his gratitude to the other members of BTS for looking out for him during this difficult time.
On April 5, 2018, as the opening to the third chapter of BTS' “Love Yourself” series, the group released the second footpath, a future bass song titled “Euphoria,” along with an accompanying short video that lasted for nine minutes.
