Let's Take a Look at The Recap of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 223
At the beginning of this chapter, Ijichi and Gojo are deep in conversation. Ijichi initiates the discussion by asking about Gojo's incarceration in the spirit world. Gojo compares the sensation to that of someone who is extremely focused on their work.
Despite its seeming brevity, a week might feel like an eternity since it goes by so rapidly that you never want to experience it again. Gojo and the rest of the squad have returned to the Shibuya location from which they first uncovered the curses.
When Gojo asks Ijichi about the people that were hurt in Shibuya because of his Unlimited Void, Ijichi assures him that everyone is well now. Gojo immediately climbs to the roof of the tall structure in preparation for the impending combat upon hearing this.
The story then moves on to Sukuna and Uraume, who respond by saying they have no idea when or where the action will take place, even if it is expected to take place today. The focus of the chapter then shifts to the subsequent material.
According to Sukuna, the distant building already emits a potent aura. Then, Gakuganji tells Gojo that he murdered Yaga; however, Gojo doesn't seem very interested, and Gakuganji is perplexed as to why Gojo doesn't hold any ill will toward him for this horrific act.
Gojo doesn't seem to care much. Shortly after this, a flashback occurs in which Gakuganji tells Gojo that he personally murdered Yaga. Gojo maintained he was responsible for Yaga's sealing even though he knew he had been pressured into killing Yaga by higher-ups.
Panda stood outside the door and listened as Gojo questioned Gakuganji about Yaga's recent comments. Gojo says the conflict's ending may have been different if Gakuganji had been in command from the beginning, and in the next panel, it is revealed that all of the higher-ups have been eliminated.
Gojo seems to be suggesting that if Gakuganji had been in charge, they would have handled the problem differently. It adds credence to the theory that Gojo was the mastermind behind the elimination of the organization's leadership.
Gojo was on his way out of Gakuganji when he ran into Ijichi, who demanded to know why he had come to him for help rather than anyone else. When Gojo left Gakuganji, he ran into Ijichi, who posed the question.
Ijichi is back in the present, where he is putting up a wall while feeling regret for his past actions. However, knowing that Gojo believes in him serves as inspiration, and he is committed to meeting the lofty goals that Gojo has set.
The focus then moves to Utahime, who is seen taking part in a ritual dance known as “Solo Solo Kinku.” Sukuna recognizes the formidable nature of the attack, yet she opts to stand and fight rather than run away.
Any building in its route would be destroyed by the force of the blow. When they finally realize that Ijichi's barrier caused them to misunderstand Gojo's attack, it was already too late to evade the strike, and Sukuna's right hand was badly burned as a result.
What To Expect From Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 224?
We anticipate that Sukuna will answer this fight with a cursed technique of his own in the future Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 224, and we expect to see the fight between the strongest continue right from the start.
Fans that are backing Gojo in this fight would be wise to wait till Sukuan begins using his cursed techniques, as we have clearly not seen them yet. If Gojo's Hollow Purple didn't have a unique effect on reversed cursed techniques, Sukuna's injured hand would have been healed by it.
