Star Wars Has Officially Given Jodie Comer's Character in Rising of Skywalker a Name

Jodie Comer, star of Killing Eve, stunned fans when she appeared in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in a critical role in 2019.

It was a crucial part because the question of Rey's parentage had sparked heated debate among Star Wars fans since her initial appearance in The Force Awakens.

However, while Comer played Rey's mother in a flashback scene during a fight sequence between Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), we never learned her name.

Meanwhile, when it came to casting Rey's mother, Abrams turned to Comer, whom he had seen in Killing Eve. Comer, on the other hand, was unable to speak to anyone about the role after booking it.

“I had to keep that a secret for a long, long time,” the actress admitted to Entertainment Weekly. Even today, no information about Comer's casting has been published.
