Johnny Knoxville stated in a 2018 interview that he is open to filming a fourth Jackass film with new cast members “just to put in some fresh blood into it.” He stated that he is still writing ideas for a Jackass picture and that “a tonne” of them have been placed aside in case the project is approved.
A Gist About the Jackass Forever
In July 2019, cast member Chris Raab claimed on his Bathroom Break podcast that he had interviewed the Jackass team and that everyone was still open to a fourth film if Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine, and Spike Jonze agreed. Steve-O remarked in a September 2020 interview with The A.V. Club that he was shocked the film was made at all.
Bam Margera stated in a January 2021 podcast interview that he is viewed as a liability by Paramount Pictures due to his recent conduct. He stated that Jeff Tremaine had fought with the company to keep Margera in the picture, but Margera was still unsure if he would be allowed to participate in the production.
Margera acknowledged to breaking his sobriety and claimed that he had been formally dismissed from the production of Jackass 4 in a series of videos posted to his Instagram account on February 11, 2021.
Margera could be seen weeping, vomiting, and implying that he looked up “how to tie a noose” before moving to Oceanside, California, throughout the video. Margera said that Paramount forced him to take antidepressants, submit to random urine tests, and pay for his own treatment at two separate rehab centres.
Before urging his followers to boycott the picture, he voiced contempt on Tremaine, Johnny Knoxville, and Spike Jonze. He then asked his fans to donate him money so he could make his own film to compete with Jackass 4. Margera's Instagram account was quickly deactivated after the videos were released.
How was Jackass Forever produced?
Tremaine sought a temporary restraining order against Margera on May 25, 2021, after Margera harassed Tremaine and Knoxville over Instagram. Tremaine was given a three-year restraining order, which included Tremaine's wife and children, after Margera reportedly threatened their lives.
Margera sued Knoxville, Jonze, and Tremaine, as well as Paramount Pictures, MTV, Dickhouse Entertainment, and Gorilla Flicks, on August 9, 2021, claiming he was unfairly sacked from the film's production. Margera also alleges that the planned film incorporates contributions he made prior to his dismissal, and he is seeking an injunction to prevent the film's premiere in October.
Paramount Pictures is set to release Jackass Forever in theatres on February 4, 2022. On December 19, 2019, Paramount revealed that a fourth Jackass picture is in the works, with a March 5, 2021 release date. The release date was pushed back to July 2, 2021 in April 2020.

Filming for the pilot began in early March 2020. Aaron “Jaws” Homoki, a professional skateboarder, fractured his wrist during the two days of test filming. Steve-O and Johnny Knoxville were both admitted to the hospital two days after obtaining the go-ahead.
Because to the COVID-19 epidemic, filming was halted after a week, according to Steve-O and Wee Man. The film's principal filming began on December 14, 2020, with cinematographers Dimitry Elyashkevich and Rick Kosick. Knoxville and Steve-O were both admitted to the hospital on December 15, 2020.
