In March 2012, Nicole confirmed to Us Weekly that she was expecting and engaged to Jionni. The ex-MTV member and Jionni had been together for around a year and a half at that point. When asked about her new interests, Snooki was quoted as stating, “I have other priorities today.” No one else's opinion matters to me. Whenever I'm ready and he's ready.”
Jionni, who started dating Snooki during the show's third season, vowed that the couple “would not blow this up.” He became a regular cast member because of the on-screen chemistry he shared with Snooki and the show's well-documented drama.
The couple's first child, a son named Lorenzo Dominic, was born on August 26, 2012, and their second child, a daughter named Giovanna Marie, was born on September 26, 2014.
They tied the knot on November 29, 2014, and have been enjoying marital bliss ever since. They had their second son, Angelo James, on May 30, 2019. Even though Snooki told In Touch in August 2021 that she had no plans to have a fourth child, she has joked about attempting to persuade her husband to do so.

She told the following to In Touch: “I always said I wanted four, so, maybe in like a year or two, but my husband's like, ‘Hell no.'” She then made a lighthearted jest about how she may just tell them, “Yeah, sweetheart, I'm on the pill,” expecting them to react with shock.

After it was announced in January 2018 that Jionni will not be participating in the return of Jersey Shore, rumors that the pair had decided to end their marriage began spreading again.
