The Larry Elder Show is a conservative American talk radio program hosted by Larry Elder, an American broadcaster, author, politician, and attorney. It can be found throughout the Golden State of California.
It premiered in 1993 as a local program on the KABC radio station in Los Angeles and ran until 2008, when it went on hiatus, and then returned from 2010-2014. Initially broadcast nationally by ABC Radio Networks from 2002-2007, the show will be broadcast nationally by Salem Media Group from 2015-2022.
Larry still keeps in touch with The Epoch Times, a far-right newspaper associated with the Falun Gong movement. Former attorney Elder now writes a prominent syndicated column for Creators Syndicate and has published several nonfiction books.
First entering the political sphere in 2021, Republican Larry Elder challenged incumbent Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom in a recall election. Elder was defeated in the vote. The recall movement was soundly defeated, and Elder came out on top among the other candidates running to replace him.
Is Larry Elder Married?
Although his marriage to longtime girlfriend Alexandra Dating in 2014 has not been confirmed, rumors persist that he is married. Political commentator Dating has been featured on Fox News, ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, C-SPAN, Newsmax, and even OAN, among other outlets.

He left for the United States in 1986 to enter the political arena there. Elder revealed in February 2017 via Twitter that he was not married but had a girlfriend, widely assumed to be Dating.
Why Did They Break Up?
In late April 2015, Larry Elder planned to get married to his radio producer and long-time fiancée, Alexandra Dating, and also earn his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. However, after 18 months of dating, she maintains that the plan was just a temporary high point in an otherwise tumultuous relationship.
She says Elder controlled her finances and verbally and emotionally assaulted her. On Thursday, everyone found out exactly how bad things were between the radio host and his exes.
According to Politico, during a heated discussion with Dating, Elder checked to see if his pistol was loaded. Despite this setback, Elder maintained his position as the frontrunner in the race to succeed Gov. Gavin Newsom in California's recall election.
Did Larry Elder Mean to Kill Alexandra Dating?
Dating reiterated this and other accusations against Elder in an interview with The Times published just last week. For a split second, I was convinced he was going to shoot me. Dating stated, “I was in fear for my life; it was my Phil Spector, Lana Clarkson moment.” Spector was the Hollywood music mogul who fatally shot his girlfriend.
Yet, she continued, “I'm also pretty fearless and, having grown up among firearms, I didn't take it seriously.” In a statement, Elder denies all wrongdoing.
I've never pointed a gun at anyone, Elder swore. “Having spent my formative years in South Central, I have firsthand experience with the devastation that can result from actions like these. No one who knows me would ever mistake me for someone else. These are really scandalous claims.
After labeling the debate as “beneath him,” Elder made it apparent that he wanted to move on quickly so that he could focus on more serious matters. On Thursday night, Elder and his fellow recall opponents talked, but they didn't talk about the alleged incident.

California Assemblyman Kevin Kiley (R-Rocklin) made a statement in which he said, “Ms. Dating's extremely alarming story should be considered with the utmost seriousness” and “Mr. Elder should be given every opportunity to answer.”
Supporter of San Diego's former mayor Kevin Faulconer for governor, Courtney Dating, was intent on making a public spectacle out of the event and Elder's alleged inappropriate behavior.
According to Dating, “everyone recognizes the name Larry Elder because he's the one who advertises on the radio.” Then, after the performance, there's Larry Elder. You know, the one who uses insults, rhetorical tricks, and sly deception.
