1923 Season 2 Release Date Speculation
1923 fans are in for a treat. The Dutton prequel has been renewed for a second season by Paramount Plus. After a series premiere that ranked among the highest in cable viewership in the United States in 2022, the prequel was given the go-light for a second season in February of that year.
Since the premiere of Season 1923 occurred in December of 2022, there is a (very) remote possibility that Season 1924 will premiere before the end of this year. Brandon Sklenar, who plays Spencer Dutton gave a season-two update during an interview with TV Line, during which he disclosed that not only had filming not started but also that the screenplay was “still being written”.
We estimate that fans will have to wait until at least the beginning of the year 2024 before they can see season two.
