The fifth season of the animated TV show Rick and Morty had 10 episodes. This was part of the 70 episodes that Adult Swim ordered when they decided to keep the show going in 2018.
In the show, both main characters are played by Justin Roiland. The first episode of the season was on June 20, 2021, and the last one was on September 5, 2021.

Dan Harmon and Scott Marder said there would be more continuity in season 5 than in previous seasons. At a virtual Adult Swim festival in 2020, writer Scott Marder said, “There will be epic canon in season five,” and he said that Space Beth from season four would be a central character in season five.
As of October 2020, episodes were “pretty close to Adult Swim.” In November 2020, a promotional animation showed Morty carrying what looked like a dead Rick across an alien planet. Other animatics have also been released.
One of them seems to be from the same episode as the first one because Rick is in the same condition as in the first picture. In the last animatic, Morty tells Jessica how he feels about her while their spaceship crashes into the ocean.
When it does, Rick's old enemy Mr. Nimbus is there to meet them. The sixth and seventh seasons are already being made, which we know for sure.
In October 2020, the show's creator Dan Harmon said that one of the upcoming season's episodes, now called “A Rickconvenient Mort” and written by Rob Schrab, would be about Morty's relationship with a woman who is not Jessica.
Harmon said that Morty “really feels heartache on a level a man his age shouldn't… my Emmy is going to that one.” Harmon also said that the production was going faster than planned. Schrab wrote the episode, and it was “very tender.”
Jeff Loveness, who wrote several episodes in season four, will be back to write his last episodes for the show, including the season premiere. The relationship between Rick and Jerry will also get more attention this season.
Watch All Five Seasons of Rick and Morty Online Without Cable
Rick and Morty aren't on U.S. Netflix, which may disappoint people who want to watch it there. The good news is that you can watch all five seasons on Netflix U.K. and Netflix Japan. If you're in the U.S., you can use a VPN to get around the regional restrictions and watch Rick and Morty on Netflix.
Other Ways to Stream Rick and Morty
Rick and Morty episodes or whole seasons can be bought or rented on Amazon Prime Video. You can watch new episodes of Dexter, all six seasons of Grimm, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and other shows and movies with Amazon Prime U.S.
You can watch Rick and Morty on Vudu, iTunes, and Google Play. If you like to do things the old-fashioned way, you can buy DVD or Blu-ray box sets of the series on Amazon.
Where Can I Watch Free Episodes of Rick and Morty?
The main channel for Rick and Morty is “Adult Swim,” which is like Cartoon Network for adults. At the time of this writing, Adult Swim's website has a free 24-hour Rick and Morty marathon, but you can't choose which episodes to watch.
You also can't use controls like fast-forward and rewind. If you want to watch the marathon but aren't in the U.S., you can connect to a U.S. VPN server to get to it. If you have a cable box, watching Rick and Morty on TV shouldn't be too hard since Adult Swim often shows reruns.
Also, some streaming services let you try them out for free. At the moment, HBO Max doesn't have a free trial, but Hulu does. It has two plans: Hulu and Hulu Plus (No Ads).
Since Hulu is a U.S. streaming service, you need a U.S. payment method to sign up. Unfortunately, you're out of luck if you don't have a way to pay in the U.S.
Will There Be a Sixth Season of Rick and Morty?
As of the end of season 5, Rick and Morty's creators haven't said when season 6 will come out, but Radio Times says it could be at the end of 2022. Still, there have been delays between seasons in the past, so no one knows when season 6 will come out.
