How Old Was Priscilla When She Started Dating Elvis?
Priscilla Beaulieu was 14 years old when she met 24-year-old Elvis on September 13, 1959. Elvis was holding a party at a property he had rented in Bad Nauheim, Germany, while serving in the military.
According to Albert Goldman's 1981 biography, Elvis, the rockstar was so enamored with Priscilla that he behaved awkwardly around her.
When she arrived home late, her parents forbade her from seeing Elvis again. Her parents relented when Elvis vowed not to bring her home late again, and the two started dating. This connection was predictably problematic because she was a teenager and he was ten years older than her.
Elvis proposed to Priscilla in 1966 after his manager, Colonel Parker, reminded him of the “morals clause” in his record deal, which prohibited him from living with an unmarried woman. On May 1, 1967, Priscilla turned 21, and the couple married at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas.

What Priscilla and Elvis Have Said About Their Age Gap?
Even decades after Elvis' death, Priscilla defends the age differences in their relationship. She has stated (via Entertainment Weekly) that Elvis “respected the fact that I was only 14 years old” at the start of their relationship.
She stated that she felt like an old soul who was more mature than the ordinary 14-year-old, claiming to be “a little bit older in life than in numbers.” Priscilla has stated that their early relationship was built on communication and that they did not have sex until they married, although biographer Suzanne Finstad disputes this allegation.
