Who Is Serge Onik?
Serge Onik was born on April 13, 1988. He was from Kharkiv, Ukraine. The star's ethnicity was mixed. Furthermore, according to his birth records, his sun sign is Aries, which is the first astrological sign and is represented by the Ram symbol.
There are no particular facts about the star's schooling, however, some sources indicate that he attended a private school for his early education and later graduated from a university in the United States.
Serge was born in the lovely city of Kharkiv, Ukraine, but emigrated to the United States with his parents, Natalya Onik (mother) and Alexander Onik (father), when he was three years old. He was devoted to his family.
Aside from that, Onik has one sibling, Tommy Onik. They used to play a lot and had a great time during their childhood. Furthermore, neither his mother nor father's occupation has been known. At the time of his death, all of his family members were present.
How Did Serge Onik Die?
Serge Onik died on August 24 at the age of 33, however, the cause of death has not yet been revealed. He worked in the entertainment sector as a contestant and choreographer.
In a statement to Entertainment Weekly, Jim Keith of the Movement Talent Agency and Onik's representative confirmed the news. Keith stated,
“He was an incredible dancer with a huge heart who touched the lives of everyone he met.” He will truly be missed. This is a sad day for the agency and the dancing community in general.”
The full circumstances behind Serge Onik's death have yet to be established. People began to pay respect to him on social media after learning of his passing.
How Did Serge Onik Rise to Fame?
Serge has always enjoyed dancing and enjoys performing at numerous gatherings and functions. He has studied all forms of ballroom dancing, but his specialization is Latin ballroom.
Despite this, he rose to prominence in a very short period of time. In reality, his name was also entered as a National Champion for finishing eighth at the World Games in Taiwan in 2009.
He also made a reputation for himself in the dancing profession as a result of his talent.
The dance sensation has appeared in Andy Grammer's Good To Be Alive, as well as the AMA's Celia Cruz Tribute, which is hosted by Jennifer Lopez.
Aside from these, he appeared on a number of other shows, including Dancing With The Stars, Agent Carter, Jane the Virgin, and Bones.
Onik has also been in a number of stage productions, including SWAY: A Dance Trilogy, the Wynn Resorts Company's La Reve, The Wynn New Year's Show, Ballroom with a Twist, and Zendaya's Neverland.
Serge rose to prominence after appearing on season 11 of So You Think You Can Dance. The star made it to the top 20 of SYTYCD but was eliminated in week four.
He also appeared in the web series 100 Days of Dance with famed actress Kirstie Alley. His most recent endeavor was the American dance drama film In The Heights.
