How Did Juan Lopez Die?
Juan Lopez died of the effects of pneumonia while he was in jail for smuggling and selling drugs in 2009. In 1997, when he was 25, he broke the law and was arrested for bringing illegal immigrants into the United States. Before he was let out, he had been locked up for more than six months. When he was caught, he had only been married for a few weeks.
In 2007, Juan was caught again for selling drugs, which was the next big time he was caught. It wasn't clear what his sentence was, but he was arrested and put in jail. Two years later, he was said to have developed problems with his lungs that would kill him before he turned 40.
