How Did Joe C Rise to Fame?
Career Calleja originally met Detroit-area performer Kid Rock in 1994 at a concert in Roseville, Michigan.
Calleja was initially misidentified as a youngster by Rock. “He used to come to all of my performances.”
He'd be singing the songs while standing on tables in the front row.”
Rock then included Calleja into his act, saying, “He's talking, and I'm like, would you like a job?” He says, “I can't do anything.” It's not important right now, I say. You've got attitude flying all over this room, I thought. “I'll teach you everything you need to know,” I said.
Calleja appeared with two naked strippers for rapper Shortcut's album cover in 1997.
