How did Brittany Steier die?
Brittany Nicole Steier was born on June 10, 1989, to Betsy Goehrig and Joseph Steier. She was born in Stuart, Florida, to loving parents and siblings. Brittany grew up in the family, spending most of her time having fun with her loving sisters—the eldest, Christina “Christy” Bertera, and the youngest, Kerri Kinard.
She was a cheerleader for the Treasure Coast Allstars, the Orlando Flames, Pop Warner, and the Brandon Allstars. Brittany spent her high school years playing basketball, softball, and football.
Aside from being a passionate football fan, the Newsome High School graduate's artistic side shone through multiple times through the T-shirts she produced and tailored for her folks. When Betsy and Joseph chose to divorce, their perfect lives were devastated.
Brittany then moved in with her mother, who later married Kevin Goehrig. Her father, Joseph, married Linda. Brittany and her sisters were blessed with step-siblings Megan Ireland, Bryan Perkins, and Jamielynn Jakubowski as a consequence of their engagements.
Brittany never stayed in one area for long; she resided in St. Lucie, Florida, and Orlando for over 5 years before settling in at her father's property in Bradenton. She also lived in Crawfordville with her sister Christy and her husband Jeff while completing her AA degree at Tallahassee Community College.
According to her mother, now-retired Regional Minister of Florida Disciples Regional Church, Dr. Betsy Goehrig, and elder sister, Christy, the fun-loving personality was also a “wanderer” and had traveled to several locations around the world, ranging from religious and architectural landmarks in Israel and Greece to breezy destinations like Hawaii and the Caribbean.
She was married to Edward McNeil Harris Jr., also known as June. Their children, however—son Dallas and daughter Karter—were her entire world. Before the birth of Dallas in 2018, she had suffered multiple miscarriages and also lost a beautiful son named Jade in 2015.
Brittany and her children were staying at her father and stepmother's home in Sarasota, Florida, in 2020. Brittany has sufficient expertise in the fields of customer service and management. The 31-year-old was employed in the Human Resources Department at Realtime Electronic Payments (REPAY) at the time of the event.

Brittany lived her life unapologetically, bringing enormous delight to everyone she met. The 31-year-old was the light of every party and liked to sing and dance her heart out. She was the light that shone in the darkest areas of her loved ones' lives.
Unfortunately, that beautiful spark was doused permanently in 2020. with friends and family, and she always sought to inspire others. In July 2020, she was discovered dead with several gunshot wounds to her temple, as her daughter was covered in her blood beside her.
