In a new documentary, Netflix investigates the life, death, and mysteries of American model, actress, and television personality Anna Nicole Smith.
Anna Nicole Smith: You Don't Know Me will follow the model's life from the beginning of her career as a Playboy magazine centerfold in May 1992 to the moment she died in a hotel in Florida in 2007, aged 39, using never-before-seen footage and interviews with people close to the late star.
It will also examine Anna's various lovers, including her second marriage to 89-year-old billionaire J. Howard Marshall in 1994, as well as her two children, Dannielynn Birkhead and Daniel Wayne Smith, the latter of whom died at the age of 20.

Who was Anna Nicole Smith's son?
Daniel Wayne was born on January 22, 1986, in Mexia, Texas, to model and actress Anna Nicole Smith and Billy Wayne Smith.
Daniel began appearing on his mother's E! Network reality show, The Anna Nicole Show, at the age of 16.
He also appeared in two films directed by Anna Nicole Smith, Skyscraper and To the Limit. According to his friends, he was infatuated with video games, anime, and Ben Stiller movies.
Daniel attended Los Angeles Valley College during the summer of 2006.
How did Daniel Wayne Die?
Anna Nicole gave birth to her daughter, Dannielynn, on September 10, 2006, at Doctors Hospital in Nassau, Bahamas.
Daniel, 20, died three days after her birth from an accidental drug overdose while visiting his mother and half-sister in the hospital.

At the time, an autopsy revealed that a lethal combination of antidepressants and painkillers—some of which he had received a legitimate prescription for—was what killed Daniel.
