Even though Izumi is a nerd, he lives a more exciting life. He dresses in punk style when he goes outside, with earrings and tattoos. In the meantime, Kyoko dresses down and takes care of Souta, who is younger than she is.

The two-run into each other outside of school. When they find out each other's secrets, they promise not to tell their classmates at school. As the story goes on, the two of them start to feel something for each other. They finally told each other they loved each other, and their friends were happy for them and accepted their relationship. In the show's last episode, the two were getting their diplomas.

If the show gets picked up for a second season, Kyoko and Izumi's relationship will likely continue. The source material for the first season has already been used up. So, if they want to keep making the anime, they will have to develop a new story.
