Will HSMTMTS Get Renewed for a Third Season?
Yes. High School Musical: The Musical: The Series has been renewed for a third season, Disney+ announced on Twitter on September 13. Disney+ tweeted, “Buckle up for Season 3, Wildcats.”
According to seventeen, Yes! On June 29, Disney+ released the official trailer for HSM:TM: T.S. season 3, signaling the start of something new.
In the two-minute clip, the Wildcats have just arrived at Camp Shallow Lake, and we get a sneak peek at the high-stakes audition process for the summer production of Frozen.
When be Be Will HSMTMTS Season Three Released?
According to comingsoon, On Wednesday, July 27, at 3 a.m. E.T./12 a.m. P.T., the first episode of Season 3 of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series will be available on Disney+.
Each week, new episodes will air until the season finale on September 14. A group of East High students is the focus of this mockumentary musical teen drama.
Filming will begin in January 2022, according to Olivia Rodrigo in a TIME feature. Season 2 debuted in May. Therefore season 3 might debut around the same time. Episodes will likely stream weekly on Disney+ as they did in the previous two seasons.

Fans of Olivia Rodrigo shouldn't be concerned that her new work as a singer would prevent Nini from returning in season 3.
Olivia stated in May 2021 to The Guardian that she is “committed to HSM for two more years” and would appear in season 3 of the program. According to her claims in the Guardian, she may also feature in Season 4.
The actors who play East High's favorite teachers, Mr. Benjamin Mazzara (Mark St Cyr) and Miss Jenn (Kate Reinders), will probably return for more HSMTMTS fun.
In the meanwhile, Olivia Rose Keegan (Lily), Roman Banks (Howie), and Derek Hough (Zack) are all set to return for season 2.

HSMTMTS showrunner Tim Federle explained to Hollywood Life what we can expect in season 3: “I usually appreciate picking up where you left off since, in my opinion, it is the essence of today's streaming T.V., which is convenient. Season 3 has a few ideas, but they all have to start with the green light, so I hope to have the opportunity.”
Ricky and Nini are no longer together, Gina and E.J. are dating, Big Red and Ashlyn are dating, Kourtney and Howie are dating, and Carlos and Seb are dating, but that might all change in the upcoming season.
