Heartland Season 17: Heartland is a Canadian family drama series based on the same-name book series that has captured the hearts of millions of fans! The series follows the Flemings as they live blissfully on their family property. Although living in the country has its benefits, it also has some drawbacks!
We see Amy, her sister Lou, grandfather Jack, and father Tim deal with the ups and downs of farm life and grow closer over the course of sixteen seasons. With the sixteenth season presently running, viewers are curious about the show's future. We've included all of the most recent Heartland Season 17 news below.
Heartland Season 17: Release Date
There has been neither an official announcement nor a hint about when the 17th season of the Heartland series will come out. The last season of the show, the sixteenth season, just started on October 2, 2022. So far, only 15 episodes have been released.
This means that the 17th season isn't likely to come out soon, even though there isn't much chance of another season. If the show were to be picked up for another season, it would probably be announced in June 2023 and the reason why would come out in October 2023. This is based on how the previous seasons were released.
Season 17 of Heartland's Plot
Since all of the sixteenth season's episodes aren't out yet, it's hard to guess what will happen next. We only know for sure that the new season will be at least as good as the last ones, if not better. Amy's love life will be one of the main stories in the next episodes and in season 17.
After her husband Ty died, she is now ready to settle down with someone. So, Amy's love interest could be an old character like Sam, or it could be a new character introduced by the show.
The relationship between Tim and Jessica will also be a big part of the next episodes. Lou and Peter may also get back together, and Katie and Logan may start going out. Overall, the seventeenth season will be full of interesting stories.

Heartland Season 17: Cast Speculation
As far as we know, the cast of Heartland Season 17 is not likely to change a lot. The show's stories will be continued by most of our favorite actors, including:
- Amber Marshall as Amy Fleming
- Ruby and Emanuella Spencer as Lyndy Fleming
- Michelle Morgan as Lou Fleming Morris
- Gabriel Hogan as Peter Morris
- Shaun Johnston as Jack Bartlett
- Jessica Steen as Lisa Stillman
- Chris Potter as Tim Fleming
- Michelle Nolden as Jessica Cook
- Kerry James as Caleb Odell
- Baye McPherson as Katie Fleming-Morris
- Ava Tran as Parker Yang
Drew Davies, who plays Logan, and Shawn Roberts, who plays Sam Langston, will probably also be back for the new season. In Season 16, the two actors had a lot more screen time, which suggested that they might have a bigger part in the show.
Fans were surprised when Jessica Amlee (Mallory) and Jake Church (Jake) came back this season, but we don't know yet if they're here to stay. Alisha Newton's (Georgie Fleming-Morris) absence is still a mystery, and there has been no word about when the actress will be back.
