She remembered the love she had given. The best way for Harrison Wagner's longtime girlfriend Sophia Bui to talk about Harrison's passing is through a “love letter to her babe,” so she has written one.
Harrison was the son of General Hospital star Jack Wagner. “We loved each other repeatedly, back and forth, for seven years. For better or worse,” the Minx star, 27 years old, wrote on her Instagram account on Wednesday, June 7, underneath a photo of herself with her late boyfriend.
“May God bless you in good health and in bad. I'm sorry, but I couldn't answer any of the calls you made in the middle of the night over the past few days. I miss sending you silly animal videos.
I miss you sending me those breathtaking songs that always bring tears to my eyes. I long for the days when we could curl up in your arms like polar bears and fall asleep. Bui, who referred to Harrison as “the balm that soothed my soul,” expressed that although she was “so brokenhearted,” the native of California would always be “my guy.”
“I was never alone in this world because you were always by my side. The man from Texas gushed, “You were the balm that soothed my soul,” and went on to say, “I will always choose to love you in this world and any other life.” The Top Gun: Maverick actress signed off her post with a sequence of emojis depicting a broken heart.
In addition to the heartfelt ode, Bui also posted a few Instagram stories of herself and Harrison throughout the years, including one in which Harrison is seen pecking her cheek and smiling for the camera while they are both in the frame.
Peter Wager, Harrison's older brother, finally spoke out about his younger brother's death earlier on Wednesday. He did so in memory of Harrison. On Instagram, the actor, now 31 years old, captioned several throwback photos of the pair with the phrase “Always with you.”
According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner report that Us Weekly obtained on Tuesday, Harrison was pronounced dead in North Hollywood, California, at 5:14 a.m. local time on Monday morning. The heartfelt dedications came just one day after his death was announced.
On Monday, the body of the DJ was discovered in a parking lot in the city of North Hollywood. After the autopsy was completed, the medical examiner decided to postpone determining the cause of death and asked for additional investigation. According to the filing, the doctor will conduct a new evaluation of the situation once the results of the tests and studies are in.
Jack, Harrison's father, is 62 years old and has not yet commented on the unexpected passing of his son, whom he shares with his ex-wife Kristina Wagner. Harrison was killed in an accident.
The two met while working on the set of General Hospital, where they both had roles, and became engaged in 1993. (The ex-couple also has a son named Peter, and the former cast member of Melrose Place has a daughter named Kerry from a previous relationship.) However, they ended their marriage 13 years later.
Before he passed away, Harrison fought addiction for a significant portion of his life, ultimately resulting in his disappearance in 2016. His father, Jack, who was 62 at the time, turned to social media to get assistance in locating his son at the time.
He wrote on Twitter, “I fear for the safety of my youngest son. Like I did when I was younger, Harrison has struggled with substance abuse and alcoholism. He's had a relapse and has been missing for five days.
Following the frightening event, the music producer in question was located safely five days later. On the other hand, Harrison became much more vocal about his efforts to change his life.
It is NEVER TOO LATE to make a change in one's life. This adage can never be overstated. If you are struggling, believe me … I've been there. In September of 2021, he posted a message on Instagram in which he said, “But we come out on the other seeing the world through a Different Lens.”
Harrison's final post, published on May 22, was also upbeat. “Focus. He captioned a picture of himself in Los Angeles with the phrase, “YOU are left with YOU and your thoughts.”
