Probably for the best, since I wouldn't be interested in the slightest if I knew how the story ended. Regardless, let's analyze this teaser right now.
Gamora's Homecoming Surprises Marvel Fans
Some Marvel fans don't understand the significance of Zoe Saldana‘s surprising return to the MCU. Saldana's Gamora joins returning cast members Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, and Pom Klementieff in the latest “Guardians of the Galaxy” trailer, which was released on Thursday. On May 5th, the film will be released in theatres.
Since Gamora was Killed in 2018's “Avengers: Infinity War,” the appearance of Saldana shocked some in the fandom.
This is why you came home to such a confusing situation: “Avengers: Endgame” introduces the Gamora who appears in “Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3.” An earlier version of Gamora was able to travel to the future to aid in the fight against Thanos because to a time heist conducted by the characters in the 2019 film (played by Josh Brolin).

The trailer hints at the addition of a few new characters, including Peacemaker's Chukwudi Iwuji as the villainous High Evolutionary and Borat's Maria Bakalova, who rose to fame with her role as the voice of Cosmo the Space Dog. The first glimpse of Will Poulter in the role of Adam Warlock, the golden superhero teased in the Vol. 2 after-credits sequences of 2017's film, may be seen in the trailer as well.
About a week following the debut of the Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3 teasers, the film's 44-minute Christmas-themed prequel, Holiday Special, was made available online. Filming for both Vol. 3 and the holiday special occurred simultaneously, and Gunn told EW that he felt “a lot of pressure” to get Vol. 3 right, adding, “It absolutely matters to me that we complete this tale well.”
The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 franchise will be released in theatres on May 5, 2023.
