What is Guardians of the Galaxy Game About?
Following the adventures of Star-Lord (also known as Peter Quill), the game chronicles his progress through a variety of Guardians narratives by using his charm, shooting skills, and blagging his way through them.
While the game will be more of a collection of the ragtag cosmic crew's best moments than a focused narrative, we believe that this will make the game a better experience overall. Having a sampler rather than a single course dinner is preferable in this situation.
Square Enix announced the new action title during a webcast at E3 2021, which featured more than 20 minutes of gameplay and conversations with people involved with the project.
Rumors of the game's existence had been circulating for quite some time, albeit there had been no leaks previous to the event's announcement.

Guardians of the Galaxy Gameplay & Story
In Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy, players will go on a linear narrative-driven journey. The tale will revolve around the Guardians attempting to clean up a problem they created, one that has the potential to bring the universe to its knees.
As previously said, the gameplay consists of a mixture of discussion, exploration, and battle. Throughout the game, players will only have control over Star-Lord, but they will have an impact on the other characters through a narrative option system.
As seen in the trailer revealed thus far, gamers can have an impact on little details like selecting to throw Rocket over a ravine or major ones like deciding which Guardian to pretend to be selling to the public.
Combat consists of a combination of close-range and long-range assaults, with a combat system that is reminiscent of the Devil May Cry franchise.
Combat will be controlled by Gamora, Rocket, Drax, and Groot during the course of the game, each of whom has their own specific attacks to use against the other characters.
Additionally, Eidos-Montréal has incorporated the narrative portion of the game into the gameplay, as Star-Lord can speak to his team during battle to motivate them.
Are there any microtransactions or DLC in the game?
Guardians Of The Galaxy will not include any microtransactions or DLC, in contrast to the other Marvel properties developed by Square Enix.
According to senior narrative designers Mary Demarle, who said prior of the game's E3 debut, “There isn't going to be any DLC for this game, and there isn't going to be any microtransactions.”
“This is because, for us, it's critical that players have access to all there is to know and experience about this game from the moment they first play it,” says the developer. Marle furthered her point.
However, there will be various pre-order extras for the game, including additional costumes for the Guardians of the Galaxy characters.
