The documentary ‘Ghosts of Morgan City' follows a team of paranormal investigators as they investigate reports of hauntings in Morgan City, Louisiana. The broadcast date of this follow-up to Travel Channel's ‘Ghosts Of Shepherdstown' has been set for May 2019. Who Is in the Cast for “Ghosts of Morgan City”?
Ben Hansen, Jereme Leonard, and Sarah Lemos are the show's star cast members. Hansen has appeared in ‘Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files', ‘Paranormal Lockdown', and ‘Ghosts Of Shepherdstown', among other television shows. He's an ex-FBI agent with excellent investigation abilities. Known as a demonologist, Leonard has appeared on numerous podcasts. Lemos, the psychic on the squad, completes the trio. To date, she has appeared on Banner Travel's “Ghost Hunter Cruise” in Salem, Oregon, where she is originally from.
Local historian and archivist Diane Wiltz, Morgan City Police Chief James Blair, and Mayor Grizzaffi, who keeps a watchful eye on the whole process, all accompany them.
What's the Storey behind the Morgan City Ghosts?
Police Chief James “Bo” Blair of Morgan City, Louisiana, is determined to get to the bottom of a series of unusual happenings and an increase in emergency calls tied to paranormal phenomena. He gets in touch with Shepherdstown, West Virginia, Police Chief Mike King, who has dealt with a similar situation in the past. Blair enlists the help of Jereme Leonard, Ben Hansen, and Sarah Lemos after speaking with him. It's up to the three of them to figure out what's going on here.
Throughout each episode, we follow the members as they investigate the strange events taking place in and around Morgan City. They look for patterns that are similar and clues that point to a solution. Researchers found that the hauntings are not limited to Morgan City but occur across St. Mary Parish.
When a woman claims to have seen a spirit while driving through a hazy stretch around Lake Palourde, the plot of this docuseries is set in motion. After being notified by the authorities, the team jumps into action to look into the incident.
Ghost hunter shows, such as “Ghost Adventures,” are known for their closed-loop storylines, and this one is no exception. A mysterious mist appears to be harbouring an inhuman thing in the first episode of this series. Whether or whether it provides a definitive solution is entirely up to the viewer.
The re-enactments of the ghostly encounters accompany each episode's suspense. In between, experts from various fields come forward to explain the various phenomena and their possible causes.
Historical narratives and investigations are also used in the show to make it an ultimate combination of murder mysteries, paranormal encounters and investigative CSI techniques.
Diane Wiltz, a local historian, brings up some fascinating points in her book, “Ghosts of Morgan City,” which explores the town's troubled past. For example, the ghost of Ada LeBoeuf, the first woman hanged in Louisiana in 1927, is believed to haunt the mist.
Further investigation leads the detectives to speak with her great-great-granddaughter, who provides a few more hints. The team then conducts trials to look for any indications of abnormal activity with the use of technology. The novel ends with a twist on Ada's murder conviction, and her family is able to come to terms with her death.
As the investigation draws to a close, we begin to receive more calls from locations outside of Morgan City. As a result, the team is forced to travel throughout the parish in search of information. During the American Civil War, a plantation in Louisiana was the site of a bloody voodoo battle.
There is a haunted family home that is occupied by the soul of a little girl again that the three interacts with. To put an end to this ghostly tug-of-war, the crew has to sift through historical archives and find troubling clues one step at a time.
Finally, if you do decide to give this show a shot, don't just watch it for the weird premise; you'll also learn a lot about Cajun culture, history, and some wonderful locales along the way.

When will the Second Season of Ghosts of Morgan City air?
The first season of ‘Ghosts of Morgan City' began on the Travel Channel on Friday, June 21. In total, there are eight parts, each of which clocks in at 60 minutes long.
For how long will ‘Ghosts of Morgan City' air? Travel hasn't made an official announcement yet, so it's too early to make any firm predictions. We wouldn't be surprised if it is picked up for a second season, given the show's intriguing idea.
‘Ghosts of Morgan City' Season 2 could be out by June 2020 if that happens. As new information becomes available, we'll be sure to add it to this section.
